We have her and all went pretty well. She was quite for about the first hours at the orphanage but that only lasted a while. She is very busy, into everything, and has a great sense of humor. We have a video from our initial meeting but I cannot load it onto the blog. Today is a day of paperwork at the Adoption Affairs Center where we will be at for the next 3 days.

I do think that Emmie looks like her New Mommy. You both have the same God given smiles. Pure joy is what I see. She is beautiful! Can't wait until you are all home. Wow the changes the God have placed in our lives in the past couple of years.

You look so happy together...reading your story each day brings back lots of amazing memories...when we were on our way to the hospital - only driving to Sacramento - but a bundle of emotion as you anticipate meeting your child for the first time. What a beautiful young lady Emmie is, and she looks like one of God's little angels. She will be a real blessing to your family, and she is very blessed to have been brought into your lives, because you are beautiful people.
We are very anxious to have you home in Stockton with your new gift from God, so that we can be part of the throng that will be waiting to hug her. She will probably not be too anxious to receive all the hugs that are waiting for her. We will have to be patient.
We are praying for a safe and uneventful conclusion of your trip.
